About:
The reason why I wanted to make an infographics for the amputees was because I know people who had their limbs amputated due to traumatic accidents, thus I’m able to sympathise more with the struggles they face in their daily lives.
As an athlete myself, I cannot imagine not being able to run or jump. With such advance technologies in the modern world, I believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to make use of their full potential to succeed in life, thus this piece of infographic poster is intended to encourage and empower amputees to regain control of their lives, letting them know that they can still be the best versions of themselves.

Process :
Since I wanted the design to feel more respectful and sympathetic towards the victims of traumatic accidents, I made use of light analogous colour tones to bring out a more light hearted and respectful vibe, which also help gave off a sense of harmony overall.
Secondly, I needed the main prosthetic leg illustration to have more detail in order to look more realistic as it is a huge graphic element on my A2 poster design, and since analogous colours are very good for blending gradients together, using this type of colour scheme for the prosthetic leg illustration would help the highlights and shadows to be blended in smoothly together and achieve the realistic and detailed look.
To ensure a good infographic poster, I made sure to use a supporting graphic element beside every point mentioned. An example would be how I used ‘leaves’ to symbolise “new lease of life..”
